Terms of Service

The rules for using 2060 websites, documentation, and community resources.

Last updated: April 20, 2026

Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, documentation, and community resources operated by 2060 OÜ (“2060”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using our services you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

These Terms do not replace or modify any separate written agreement between 2060 and a client for consulting, research, specification, or managed-operation services; those engagements are governed by their own contracts, which prevail in the event of a conflict.

Eligibility

You represent that you are at least 18 years old or have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms on behalf of the organization you represent. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to you and to your use of our services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  1. Interfere with, disrupt, or disable any part of our websites, infrastructure, or security controls.
  2. Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when interacting with 2060, our websites, or our community spaces.
  3. Upload or transmit malicious code, run automated scraping, or generate traffic volumes that could impair service availability.
  4. Reverse-engineer or probe our systems beyond what is explicitly permitted by an open-source license or a written agreement.
  5. Use 2060 trademarks, logos, or brand assets in a way that implies endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or that threatens the integrity of our services.

Open-source projects

Source code published under github.com/2060-io is provided under the open-source license noted in each repository. Those licenses govern your rights to use, copy, modify, and redistribute the code; nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted to you by an applicable open-source license.

Intellectual property

Except for material licensed under an open-source license, 2060 retains all rights, title, and interest in its trademarks, logos, websites, documentation, designs, and other proprietary content. You may not use 2060 marks or branded content without prior written permission.

Feedback

You may send us suggestions or ideas about our work. By submitting feedback, you grant 2060 a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, distribute, and create derivative works based on that feedback, without obligation to you.

Disclaimers

Our services, including websites and documentation, are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. 2060 does not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2060 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the services shall not exceed one hundred (100) euros. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 2060, its directors, employees, and contributors from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the services or your violation of these Terms.

Changes to the terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision. Changes become effective when we post the updated Terms. Continued use of the services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved by the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory provisions of consumer-protection or data-protection law require otherwise.
